History:

Moonchild lived happily with her family, in a vast jungle somewhere in Equestervakia. They loved adventure and rambling around everywhere that seemed inhospitable. They love dare contests. They love it so much that one day they decided to travel abroad, and have a solitary journey. Each one of them should come back a year after, with the weirdest object they could find. It would be an amazing adventure, and a competition. Even though they divided, Moonchild has them in her heart, and is anxious to beat them in their "quest of the weirdest object" competition. Each of them went to a different exotic place. And that's how she reached Equestria.

All members of her family have stripes, like her. Even though she's not a complete zebra, her race has very features that are similar to zebras, and they are compatible and live together. In her jungle, there are lots of weird animals, and there was a war in the past, that leaded to an association between zebras and horses, that's where her kind of hybryd race comes from.
